Why? The economy is being controlled by the government and we know how well the government performs. I am not saying there should not be government regulations but Uncle Sam is now treading in new waters.  |

Well, it is now mid-January, actually the day after Obama’s inauguration, and the Dow IS in the upper 7000s. What was it 18 months ago? 14,000? Half has disappeared and the government has NO CLUE. Not only that, the banks, with the collusion of the U.S. Congress, have virtually stolen $350 billion of our money and REFUSES to reveal what they did with or or where it is. And our Congress, controlled by Democrats, does nothing about it. Because they planned it that way.
My view is that this has been an intentional raid on the wealth of the baby-boomers, whose retirement finances are being wiped out by the rigged financial collapse. There are going to be a LOT of poor old people in this country who worked all their lives, did the supposedly right things with their money, and will end up near destitution.
As for Obama and his message that we’re going to have to give up something, I have news: we’ve already given. Or rather, we’ve already had it all taken from us. There ain’t nothin’ left, buster.
I agree Tramky there has been raid on our wealth and both major parties participated. No one is protecting the “average Joe”. No one is even protecting the above average Joe, they are having there wealth stolen from them as well. We are living in scary times. Most people are still in shock and not sure how to react to what is going on. If a robber broke into their homes they would no what to do. A robber has broken into their savings and plunder their wealth and are at a lose as to how to react.
