I know the Dems are no angels, but it boggles the mind that the stale tactics of the Re-pubic-an party are never going to change. Is it only me? I hear them already blaming Obama for what’s going on in the country. And yet they do nothing but stick to voting party lines. I’ll make a prediction: we will see the Re-pubic-ans vote straight down party lines for 4 solid years, then hear them drag out the same sorry-assed line “he got nothing done” come 2012. Are you, reading this, part of who is continuing to put these people in office? Do you actually think that just because you are republican means that the crooks in Washington who call themselves Repubicans will actually share your conservative concerns? Hell no! Repubicans mean one thing–keep the rich wealthy, make generating massive wealth possible at any cost, let the rest eat pie.

I agree that the Democrats are no angels. The Republicans are certainly not but just what group of people generated massive wealth in the last year?
My opinion is that their is little difference between Republicans and Democrats. Did you know that a Democrat named Al Gore accumulated over 100 million dollars in the last year or two. Yes a Democrat generated massive wealth for himself. That’s the reason of course he did not seek the presidential nomination again.
If I were Al Gore, I would be completely disenfranchised with politics. I’m a Floridian, and I know exactly what Bush/Cheney did to steal that election. It’s basically treasonous. And must I name the huge list of Republicans who held office under Bush only to resign and take extremely high paying jobs for the same companies they provided favors to while in office? By the way, Gore has donated most of his speech earnings to a group that focuses on global warming. I am a capitalist, so I don’t begrudge anyone hitting it–I do choose my poisons carefully, and Republicans believe wars stimulate the economy.

My point really being neither party has clean hands. Very few politicians operate with the citizens of the United States in mind. Most cater to special interest groups and lobbyists and the public be damned. I think your too hung up on Republican and Democratic labels and taking a side. Look for faults on both sides because none of the politician care about you.
