Surprise, surprise, the answer is NO!! That is my position from watching college educated people try to run rough shod over non-college educated people. Specifically, college educated politicians in position of power in Washington D.C. I think it is safe to say that 100% of politicians have graduated from some college, usually one of distinction and renown. I think it is also safe to say that 90% of them are clowns who shouldn’t be allowed to manage a car wash, much less  a government department.

How does a college operate? Simple. A college professor writes a book and then makes it part of his program, thus insuring sales. Now where did that professor get his education? from reading books written by his instructor. Its all about book learning, not practical experience and it is practical experience that makes things work. Here’s an example. In order to get an electrical license, the electrician must know - as in intimately — the National Electrical Code (NEC). He/she must know formulas, calculations, conduit fill, amperage wire sizes and a thousand other need to knows. He/she must have the practical experience to install that conduit, size wires and pull the wires into the coduit. He/she must know, not guess, how to install an electrical system. That is practical experience.

Now, an electrical engineer has spent four years reading about how to do the same thing but doesn’t have the practical experience, they haven’t dug a ditch and installed the conduit, they haven’t pulled one wire and gotten their hands dirty. Yet they have the final say over the job and if they are wrong, the guy/girl in the ditch gets the blame. They don’t have the practical experience.

An aspiring politician has sat through four years of class room work but hasn’t the slightest idea of how the real world works, they lack practical experience. They do know how to rob Peter to pay Paul, juggle accounting books and make themselves look good in order to avoid criticism for the lack of practical knowledge. Just look at our present sitting administration. They have put the United States (read that American citizens) billions of dollars into debt and have the slightest clue as to how we’re going to pay it off. That’s where creative bookkeeping comes in handy. Call it slight of hand, they distract us from the real problem while giving us false hope. Does anyone really think that all this economic stimulas is about the American people. If you do, then get your head out of your a** and smell the roses. Its all about corporate America and bailing them out, not the American taxpayer. Its all about making them a profit at the expense of the age earner.

I must admit that I was anxious to hear how Obama would apply his problem solving skills to our problems as he campaigned for President, only to be disappointed as he plowed right into helping his campaign backers, those who handled him expertly before and after. Obama is now in the White House, for another 3 1/2 years and living the dream of every minority. It is unfortunate that he chose dept heads with little or no street smarts, a prime example of a college education going to waste. Obama is not helping the American people, he is repaying his campaign promises, at our expense. Maybe he can get a refund.

Damn I’m obsessive. I get a thought in my head and I JUST CAN’T GET IT OUT. So I guess that means I need to turn it over a few times and see what the hell is hiding underneath it.

As usual, it’s a dental lab related event. Damn dental labs. They insist on being the game board upon which everything else in my life is played out - even now that I’m laid off. As an aside, let me say that the day I was laid off I was walking in the clouds, literally high, floating, with a big, dumb, irreversible smile splayed from ear to ear. I was ecstatic, because I thought that Life had finally booted me out of that world and slammed the door shut behind me.

But I guess I’m still hashing shit out.

So here’s the shit. Naturally, after I got laid off I contacted a friend, who owns a lab. He’s the nicest guy ever, but there’s something that’s lodged under my skin, regarding our recent conversations. And it’s all tied up with dental lab technician attitudes.

Here’s the deal in a nutshell: My survival - in life, and everything I do - is to have the attitude that I can damn well do anything I set my mind to. If I didn’t have that attitude, I’d have keeled ages ago. Life demands too much, and I have expectations of how I want to live it. So if you ask me, “are you good?” I’m going to say “yes, of course I’m good,” – or “yes, I can do that.”

I’ve backed that statement up with a fairly young (6+ year) career, which, in many dental tech’s opinions, puts me in the realm of a novice. Which I technically am. But I am good. In my first two years as a dental tech I more than tripled my hourly wage. I was being paid per piece. We had to remake screw-ups for free, so I couldn’t bullshit my way around the pay scale. I either did it right, and did it fast, or I was poor. I was told, (by numerous people in the lab) that my work was some of the best in the department. I’ll take their opinions as good enough proof of my skill.

Since then I’ve improved and broadened my skills, and it’s true, I’m still a beginner, but I’m damn good. That’s it. That’s my stance. And I’m not going to act all falsely modest about it. Yes there are a million better tech’s. And yes, there’s plenty of room for improvement, but there always is as long as we are alive, so why bother saying it? The very statement is, in my opinion, a form of redundancy to anyone who is aware of Life itself.

My problem is that I couldn’t give a good god damn about teeth, or the industry or anything in it. So my “I’m good” attitude is tinged with an wee chip on the shoulder that could very easily come off as arrogance. I could use these same skills to whittle well-crafted piles of poop (including the flies) out of any number of materials, and I think it would be just as much fun to do so.

Arrogance. That’s what this is all about. That’s what’s under my skin.

My friend, on the other hand, IS good. He’s damn good, (although I tend to prefer other types of occlusal anatomy in the molars than his particular style, but that’s a pointless argument. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and who the hell is going to see that occlusal anatomy once the tooth is cemented in there, anyways? I don’t know, maybe a curious girlfriend, or mother…or dental tech.) Anyways…

So his attitude is humbleness. He asserts that, “ah heck, I’m not that good…I’m ok…you know…still learning.” But his teeth are pretty fucking decent. He’s a lab owner who has been in the industry for about thirty years. That’s a lot of practice. It’s true; he is still learning, because we all are, always. But in describing his skill level he uses language that convinces you that he really is some little puny beginner, and you get the idea that he’s kind of open to learning - from you. He’s really good at that act.

So you (as a normal, considerate human being) extend your knowledge and share it with him.

He visits your lab, dressed in the garments of the humble student who is beholden to your vast knowledge in a particular process (not telling you that he also has vast quantities of knowledge in this process, and many other related processes, as well). And while you are busy being the teacher, sharing with him what you know, he’s gleaning knowledge from you about your operation. He quietly observes your strengths, weaknesses, techniques, costs, suppliers, tools, etc., etc., as well as your attitudes, paying close attention to any “bragging” on your part, or any assertions of having any skill whatsoever, and right there in the back of his mind, he packages you, labels you, and puts you upon the appropriate shelf on his mental wall where he stores the arrogant assholes. That is, if you, while sharing your knowledge with him, even suggest that you are a highly skilled technician.

Now, I never asserted to him that I was a highly skilled technician; I only said that I was good. There’s a difference. So this isn’t about me. The above scenario took place in my presence however, and I watched the whole thing play out, even participated in some of the sharing of knowledge, as I was asked. And then, much later, I listened to my friend (quietly, and gently, and with all due subtlety and political correctness) rip the other lab owner sideways for being arrogant. The other lab owner, who spent time sharing their knowledge and techniques to the “humble, beholden student.”

I just don’t like that sort of thing.

Am I being petty? This has been bugging me for more than two weeks. It’s the sole reason I don’t want to talk to him again. Because while he’s acting all falsely modest about his skills, gleaning information from you, he is constantly barraging you with how “great” and “nice” and “friendly” and “quality” and “integrity” his lab is. (Not his skills –mind you, his lab).

I don’t associate this behavior with nice, or friendly or integrity. I call it devious and sneaky, insecure, and in my humble (haha) opinion, arrogant. He’s misrepresenting himself for the purpose of getting something from you. He’s acting like a dummy, while secretly hoarding the knowledge that he (in his opinion) is actually better that you.

Why is this irritating me so much? Is it because I feel I have been accused of being arrogant (but in a very sneaky, subtle way)? Or is it because I think he’s being arrogant, devious, and tricky, and judgmental? Maybe I am being arrogant. I know I’m being judgemental. I don’t know.

Or maybe I’m just not done hating the dental industry.

So, which is more arrogant? The person who “brags”? Who honestly believes and asserts “yeah, I’m good. I’m six years in the business and I’m good at it.”

Or the “humble” expert guy who says, “ah gee heck, I’m ok,” all the while knowing in his mind that he is, in fact, better than you, and all the while secretly disdaining you for being a “braggart”?

Here is a nice little diagram that shows how this new public health care “Option” cough not an option anymore cough is supposed to work.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/Sl4Y4sr5fGI/AAAAAAAAc04/GcLzEjOYTac/s1600-h/healthcare+map.JPG

Pretty simple and easy to read… Makes a lot of sense. Takes bureaucrats out of the relationship of me and my doctors….

Are you fucking kidding me!!!!!!!!!

First of all Obama has gone back on his campaign promise that allows for people to opt out of the public health care if they choose, because now that he has heard some arguments and his ideas have evolved.  Of course they evolved!  How the hell else do they plan on paying for this idea if some of the people aren’t contributing to the system.  Now I’m no economist or a government bureaucrat and I figured that one out.  Secondly this, if passed in its current condition will destroy private health insurance companies.  There is no way around it.  It won’t be instantly however over the course of time they will completely disappear.  Call me crazy if you like however there is a perfectly sound explanation for this.  As of midnight last night there was amendment added to this bill that will make it a law if and when its passed that insurance companies cannot add new people to insurance plans after the effective date of the law.  This first of all will prevent insurance companies from attracting and obtaining new customers which doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure is not exactly a good thing for business.  Secondly, will more then likely cause most employers to drop the current coverage they offer for their employees which then in turn makes insurance companies lose customers which again is not good for business.  So there you go.  Insurance companies in the health care business will first of all be denied by law to add new customers, and have law also encourage their existing customers to leave them.  This is a recipe for disaster.  I wonder exactly how many jobs will be saved or created by that nice little bill Obama and his left wing progressive friends want to put into affect. Also Obama claims to pay for this by his whole new pay as you go concept.  Well guess what, even if that happens this will be paid for by taxes that not even the middle class will be immune to.  We will all be taxed up to our necks to pay for this shit.
“Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.”
“mandates are an example of… something that I was resistant to during the campaign… this is an area where people have made some pretty compelling arguments to me that if we want to have a system that drives down costs for everybody, then we’ve got to have healthier people not opt out of the system. And I think that you have to be careful to make sure that there’s a waiver. So that if we haven’t made health care affordable yet, you’re not punishing people, not only because they can’t afford health care, but — now giving ‘em an additional fine.”
This news is coupled with Obama’s latest appointed “Science Czar” John Holdren which wrote in the 1977 book Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment that he co authored, that some solutions of overpopulation were sterilizing women through polluting the water system, and forced abortions.   Hmm sterilizing women and forced abortions… You know sounds familiar.  Oh thats right the Nazi’s tried that in concentration camps.  This dude sounds even more fucked up then Cass Sunstein the “Internet Czar” that “argued that the Internet may weaken democracy because it allows citizens to isolate themselves within groups that share their own views and experiences, and thus cut themselves off from any information that might challenge their beliefs, a phenomenon known as cyberbalkanization.”  What the fuck are we turning into?  China where the Internet is censored?

I guess all of the above mentioned is “Change you can believe in”.  Well I say take the fucking change back, and I’ll take G Dubya over this asswipe any day.
I know most people don’t care about politics for a number of different reasons.  For instance a friend of mine posted on her profile that life is too short to worry about things that she can’t control.  Well the problem is we as the people that the goverment is elected to represent have allowed for this to happen.  We don’t have any control over it because of our own ignorance, laziness, and lack of education.  If you read my post thanks for your time.  If you don’t follow politics then I would like to ask you to please try and educate yourself more regarding them, but along with that make your own decisions.  Hear both sides of the arguments and decide for yourself.  Whatever you decide Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative.  Just come to the conclusion by your own judgement, values and beliefs.  Maybe if enough people start actually caring about politics we can make this statement true again.

These new tobacco taxes are really burning me up. I know there are those of you that engage in fist pumps and victory dances every time a new tax is slapped on us evil smokers, but enough-is-enough. I wonder if you would feel the same way if taxes, comparable to those levied on smokers, were tacked onto red meat (high in cholesterol), chocolate (diabetes and obesity) and any car that does better than 35 mph (you could always take the bus); all in the name of a national health initiative.

Let me put this in (my) perspective. I have worked, and paid my way in society since the age of 16; about 30 years. I have contributed my share to healthcare, Social Security, and taxes in general. I am not a criminal. I don’t do drugs, abuse children or drive drunk. I have been a teacher most of my career, and I give back to society by sharing my knowledge with those that choose to listen. I try to be the best friend I can, to help those I can, and to be as understanding as I can. I have never (knock-on-wood) broken a bone, had a major surgery, or even spent a night in the hospital. As I see it, I have caused noone’s healthcare to increase. As a matter of fact, I have probably spent more on health insurance than I have recieved in benefits. I am also a smoker. I have chosen to smoke for 25 years on-and-off. So why should I be punished with exhorbitant taxes? Is it because smoking is a choice?

Here’s a news flash. Smokers are not the only people that choose to drive up the cost of healthcare. We all pay higher healthcare costs for those people that contract AIDS due to promiscuous behavior. Isn’t unprotected promiscuity a choice? They willingly participate in activities that could result in contracting a fatal disease. They are not victims (except in rare instances). So why aren’t promiscuous people forced to pay higher taxes to continue their behavior?  I’ll wager I become very unpopluar by making that statement. I’ll be accused of bigotry and homophobia well before someone will come up with a legitimate argument as to why that isn’t a valid comparison.

I am not about to engage in the statistics surrounding the amount of money it costs to keep someone on an iron lung because they chose to smoke all their life. I am not completely unsympathetic to the idea that taxpayers, in some cases, get stuck with the bill for keeping someone alive with an illness linked to tobacco usage. I would be intelectually dishonest to think otherwise. But why are smokers the only group of consumers that are repeatedly targeted with the chore of lowering healthcare costs for everyone else?

If you ask me, we all need to be responsible for our behavior. That means both sides of an action; forethought and aftermath. If everyone would just take care of their own business, Uncle Sam wouldn’t have to make it his.

This is something that all most gave me a heart attack! there is currently a bill in the house it might have been defeated already but it was to limit the amount of news that would be available on the web or the amount of news a newspaper can place on the web I BELIEVE I could be dead wrong. Or it was something close to that.

First off the law itself is totaly uncontitional it violates the first amendment and it violates the free enterprise system. If you’re a bussiness it’s your choice weather you sell items at a store or you sell them online from a warehouse. NOT THE GOVERMENTS!

Now what’s even more surprising is the number of people that support the law, I’m not sure of the age demographic but they want it passed and basically progress stopped. They claim that we have to protect the newspaper! WHY! Back before TV every paper had at least two editions a day the morning paper and the evening paper and if there was something important going on you’d have the extra editions. Do we have that anymore no we don’t why because TV made multiple editions of the paper obsolete. there used to be sitcoms on the radio and they quickly died when TV came once again progress.

Now I like the paper myself and I’ll keep getting it until I know inevitably my paper goes totally online. It’s going to happen it doesn’t take a genius to figure out which way the wind is blowing on this. I mean especially in this recession why in the hell would anyone pay 50 cents a day for something they can read online for relatively free. It’s called progress people accept it. Everything in the universe has a beginning and an end. There are no exceptions to this rule and the print newspaper is reaching its end

PS Normally I do a little more reshearch on a subject before I flame off about it. If anyone has any more specifics about that said law please leave a comment. All I had to go on was a little thing in my Op-Ex section of the paper. I still do think that the law never even made it to a vote in the house

OK, OK, O-Freaking-KAY already.
I voted the other way. I watched the debates, I read about both candidates, and I said back when John “I have a PLAN” Kerry was conceding to G. W. Bush that if the Dems had a shot in ‘08, Obama would be the one to take them there. He took the democrats to the White House but he is thus far taking the country to the Poor House.
He said NUMEROUS times about how he was going to go through the Budget LINE by LINE with a scalpel and cut OUT the programs that did not work and replace them with ones that do. Ok, I’m all for it.  Herein lies the Problem. He has spent more than anyone before him COMBINED and has called for cuts for what amounts to a few of hunderd thousand dollars. Lets look at two numbers because the media will show them like this 850 Billion dollars in spending and $350,000 in CUTS!!1

850.000.000.000 is NOT less than 350,000 so do not be fooled.
I’m sorry that this is a Wiki article on the Recession or UNKNOWN Depression of the early 1920’s that was eclipsed by the length and breadth of the GREAT Depression. It was the first one that I found but I’m certain that with minimal digging, something better might be found.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1921_recession

QUOTE
The recession of 1921-1923 proved to be the sharpest economic downturn since the emergence of the business cycle in the early 19th century, but it also was one of the shortest reversals. The recession was over in one year.

The Government did not throw money at this recession but instead cut the budget nearly in half. The recovery was not only quick, but it was substantial.
QUOTE
As usual, a buoyant expansion followed the severe contraction of 1920-1921. In the 22 months after the depression bottom, industrial production rose 63%, the money stock expanded by 14%, and wholesale prices rose by 9%. Net national product rose 23% in the corresponding two calendar years.

When you throw money at the problem, that money is taken (in the form of taxes) from those who would otherwise spend it in the Free Market and thus bolster the economy themselves rather than tightening the purse strings to the point where they are afraid to do anything but stuff it in a mattress for fear of the banks collapsing.

Japan had a very similar Housing bubble in 1990 except that their housing market dropped 80% of its value when it burst. They threw money at it, Bailed out the Corporations that contributed to the failures of the banking system (and made a partially National bank), only to ensure that they would have a sub par economy for 18 years.

Why do the people in our NEWLY elected Government keep touting that we should “Learn the lessons taught us by history.” and then try to repeat what HISTORICALLY has not worked for anyone else or our country by throwing YOUR money and mine at the problem to try to go back to an economy that was unsustainable to begin with and deteriorated into the mess we have now?

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” ~ Albert Einstein

Sorry for my diatribe here but I feel you are all intelligent enough to start asking the questions about whether the Government interference costs more than allowing the problem to run its course, find bottom, and regenerate to a healthy state again naturally.

BTW, I am a graduate of Butler Area Senior High School and followed a General Studies curriculum so this isn’t rocket science.

I’ll get off my soap box now but I WILL be back and maybe we can talk about the EVIL Corporations and how the Free market has destroyed the United States.!!

There is really no fixed way to stimulate the economy. The degree of economic stimulation and the size of response during a recession largely depend on the cause of the recession. For any recession, the GDP make-up is the paramount determinant of the most effective stimulating mechanism.

When an economy runs into a recession, it is hard to believe that without any new action, the economy is somehow going to pull itself out. The inability of the economy to pull itself out with inaction indicates that the old ways of running business have to be significantly modified.

Although it is important to free up money so that consumers can purchase goods when a recession strikes, it is more important to channel this money towards the most efficient goods which increase productivity in the long run. Governments have the power both to free up and to channel the flow of money although bureaucratic constraints hinder the speed and the effectiveness of the response.

During recessions, struggling private enterprises producing inefficient products are usually more interested in disposing unproductive goods in the market and staying in business. This renders government action all the more relevant.

The government’s ability to initiate any kind of economic stimulus greatly declines with a decreasing ratio of government budget to GDP. Having a fixed government budget to GDP ratio enlarges the government if the GDP grows with time. This in turn renders the government so cumbersome that its efficiency wanes with time. This diminishing effectiveness could be mitigated by modeling government institutions like the non-profit private industry while using the rest of the government apparatus to play only a regulatory role. While this helps to boost efficiency, it also strengthens the government’s ability to steer the country towards economic progress with less hindrance.

An economy in recession could either be stimulated through increase in government spending or tax cuts. A rise in government spending creates more government sponsored projects, jobs and increases the cash flow for working families. This money is then channeled to other businesses leading to an increase in jobs in the private sector. Increased spending would entail an increase in taxes thereafter in order to minimize the budget deficit.

On the other hand, tax reduction raises the amount of cash available for businesses and consumers. Consumers can buy more goods resulting in an increase in jobs in the private industry and the private industry could in turn embark on producing more goods.

Government spending implies the government directs where the money needs to be spent. In tax reduction, the private industry allocates where the extra cash goes. While the government often focuses on long term opportunities, the private industry’s focus is usually not stretched out beyond 5 years considering that the average life span of a US company is 50 years and its infant mortality rate is 10 years.

A reduction in taxes for small businesses and consumers really does little to keep the economy booming in the long run. This reduction would result in a temporal increase in small businesses. Having more small businesses in a recession does not generate more investment, but encourages more consumption. Consumption is bad for economic recovery. US consumption alone is 70 % of the GDP. Stimulating consumption may postpone a depression in the short run but the recession will become more severe when consumption is exhausted with no investment. Consumption stimulation provides a parachute for a slower free fall with little hope to rise.

A tax cut on small businesses is only effective in stretching out and exhausting an already initiated growth. Tax cuts on small businesses do not initiate growth. More often, an economic crisis requires stabilization with an orientation towards the initiation of growth than the expansion of growth. The increase in small businesses during a recession only results in the production of similarly existing goods with little or no changes in efficiency. This ends up being an illusory economic growth.

In addition, tax cuts create many disunited multidirectional economic fights by many different businesses. The ineffectiveness of multidirectional fights could not be overemphasized because economic resources get scattered everywhere thereby diminishing their strength to meaningfully reshape any economic meltdown.

A better strategy for tax cuts would be not to have an across the board tax cuts, but a reduction in taxes for industries that are expected to become the new production frontiers for the next decade. That would be money well spent. An alternation of more targeted spending and focused tax cuts is a sure means to keep the economy very efficient.

It is easier to see the ineffectiveness of tax cuts through the provision of lower taxes to businesses that are failing. A failing business requires a lot of restructuring and tax cuts give it an incentive not to restructure. With the tax cut, prices will be brought down and the consumption of the same poor goods is encouraged. When the well of tax cuts is exhausted, more tax cuts would be required to keep the industry afloat. This only leads to a deflationary spiral.

As personal finances dwindle, other programs such as food stamps, tax rebates and unemployment benefits help ensure that many existing jobs are not lost which will worsen the downward spiral. Such programs therefore only act as stabilizing mechanisms.

The effectiveness of the government to transform policies into actions is the single most significant factor in restoring economic prosperity. Should the government become very inefficient, then there is no doubt that tax reduction would play a more effective role in stimulating an economy during a recession. The government is needed more in a severe recession to make swift, smart and steady corrective measures. Government investment lays a formidable groundwork for future growth.

Every fiscal policy has a threshold below which its effect is insignificant. An invaluable fiscal policy would be simultaneous increase in spending and tax cuts, but no country has the luxury of excess cash to effect such a concurrency beyond both thresholds. This leaves government spending as the more efficacious policy. The challenge is to know these thresholds in order to institute the right measures. With the government budget constituting a fixed and appropriate percentage of the GDP, the government is sure to have the machinery to launch congruous tax cuts for the short run economic stimulation and increased government spending for long run stimulation without the burden of excessive deficits.

this is the end I just can’t do this anymore. I’ve just finally run out of bullshit. I’m tired of it aren’t you tired of it. I’m tired of one side on an issue always ignoring facts that don’t help their cause. I’m sick and tired of environmentalists thinking that corporations and big business are destroying the precious fabric of earth. Big Business is some of the largest recyclers out there but I’m also sick of the bullshit reason people believe them! The companies don’t do it out of some morale imperative to save the earth, they do it to make MONEY! Why in the hell would you throw something away when there’s another company that will buy it!

I’m tired of the stupid bullshit things that people flip out about. We’ve got a recession on, no one can find a job, Health insurance is non existent or at best a broken pile of shit of course that doesnt matter because no one has money for even a Minute Clinic visit. People are losing their homes the crime rate is going up Our freedoms are being taken away to thunderous applause and are we outraged by it HELL NO! Why because gasp! Lindsy Lohan broke up with her girlfriend and Mel Gibson is divorcing his wife! And gays want to get married oh dread! How can anyone say that Madonna not being able to adopt kid number 23 is a bigger deal to the world then the war going on!

I’m also tired of the bullshit that surrounds the school systems and the kids that infest it! The school is a public place that I keep shoveling more and more money into to help educate the kids! Guess what thanks to all of the bullshit the kids keep getting DUMBER! It’s not really the kids fault because they’re never challenged. Why because  when you challenge someone’s abilities you run the risk of them failing. We can’t have that in schools now can we! We all know how soul crushing it is  not to do something perfectly the first time. Then who really gets it the worst are the smart kids. We can’t separate them because that’s exclusionary and would make the majority of kids feel dumber and left out. We can’t get the class harder because that would make most of the other kids actually think for a minute! Do you lovers of bullshit really think that a person’s emotional center can be forever destroyed because of elementary school! Your assigning the kids way more self awareness then they’re capable of!

I’m sick and tired of the bullshit surrounding the fact that we can’t say anything or have any sort of zest for life because it might be offensive to one in ten-thousand people! You know what if you people would come out of the bubble of bullshit that you’ve built for yourself for just a few seconds you’d see that they’re just words they can’t hurt you. They only hurt you if you let them, alone words are meaningless. No word has the power to kill or to wreck some one’s life, day or even the fifteen minutes after he heard it. All the bullshit surrounding all the so-called hateful words is just that bullshit! Once you stop giving a shit what people say then everyone will see just how fast the so called hateful or offensive words lose any power. You don’t even need words to offended people and wreck your life. A photo of you on MySpace or Facebook have a drink with friends at a bar can keep you from a job, which is just stupid. Why in the hell dose someone going for let’s say a administrative assistant job need to worry about what they do in their off time. The bullshit lovers trying to take away any sort of fun that people want to have.

I’m also sick of the bullshit about how no one can take personnel responsibility for their actions. I’m talking about all the people that spouted the popular “predatory lending” there’s no such thing. It’s just another bunch a bullshit and I’ll prove it. No one held a gun to these people’s heads and made them sign the ARM loan now did they. They had all the time in the world to sign the loan or to have a lawyer look it over. Then to make matters worse instead of cutting back on expenses what did they do instead they went and just busted out their platinum VISA didn’t they. Now before they knew it they’re in over their head and bankruptcy and ruin are just around the corner. At any time we’re these people forced to buy all the shit they didn’t really need. Did they have to get a car every three years No they didn’t

The exception to that is the poor bastard that get laid off because the failing banks remove their line of credit and that spells the end for most companies. So he’s saved for a rainy day but with no jobs that dries up quick and then everything in his life begins to go down hill. To him I say first call your mortgage company and explain the situation. Trust me more and more companies are letting payments go for longer and longer. Then after that I’ll buy the drinks.

One last pile of Bullshit that I just can’t deal with anymore is the fact that why can’t men be proud to be men anymore. WHY! Oh we can be men alright just the watered down subtle weak version the feminists want. I mean I’ll give you an example if a woman goes out and sets up a club for women or a gym for women or a event celebrating womanhood every one’s just fine with it. However if I set up an event for men or centered around men there would be such a public outcry from NOW and NAW that it would probably end with me getting lynched.

That’s not even going into if i dared set up a club for guys to hang out and shoot the shit. The only requirement for membership is that you are a man that’s it. Race age creed religious belief or even gay or straight wouldn’t matter. It would be shut down in two weeks by the court for discrimination yet women can do that now can’t they especially lesbian bars. Please explain the equality and fairness in that.

That’s all the bullshit I can talk about now get back to this in a part 2 or I’ll go into it on my Warcorpse666 YouTube Channel.

Not really, but it’s been ten years since I’ve been to the dentist. I hate dentists. Kind of ironic that I work in the dental industry. But I (and my daughters) finally had to go because it’s just about that time.

Going to the dentist is a pain in the ass. I don’t mind the pain. I don’t. Stick a crowbar in my mouth and do what you have to do. Just get it done. Couldn’t care less about the fact that I have to lay there for an hour with my mouth ajar. Love talking to the hygienist…when I can. Great fun. But this is what I hate most:

1. They NEVER tell you what any of the costs are going to be. They will NEVER give you a fee schedule. Even if you go in and say, “This is how much I can spend this month, next month and the following month, and I’m going to die after that so can we please keep it in that range so that I can f**king pay for it…?” They smile, nod their heads, and then ream your pocketbook. What I said I could pay, they nodded, smiled and doubled. The pathetic thing is, I could see it in their eyes – they do this every day. Nod, smile, assure you they’ll work with you, and then ream, ream, ream.

2. The discomfort you feel at the dentist is way beyond what I remember it to be (ten years ago) when my (really good) dentist sat me down, stuck a pair of sunglasses (??) and headphones on me and let me pretend I didn’t exist while she quietly and coolly went about her business fixing my teeth. Now it’s a goddamn conference. It’s a f**king unbearable sales pitch. They get you in the chair and reveal to you your “options” (most of which are not necessary for good oral health.) But boy do they make you feel like you GOTTA have it all. And then they start mapping out the payment break down. “Well, you can pull one wisdom tooth this time, another next time along with having the sealants put in,” or “we can remove your fillings…mercury (he made sure to put extra emphasis on that word – even though he’d already pretty much covered it with “fillings”) during this three months, and then talk about doing some plastic fillers, or have you thought about veneers? There’s always invisalign…” Why the f**k is he telling me about invisalign – I already had braces.

And, you know, if your wisdom teeth aren’t bothering you…why the hell should they be pulled? Could somebody please tell me that? Because they might bother you in the future? Well then pull the damn things in the future.

I can’t stand solicitors. Not on my phone, not at my door, not in a box, not with a fox, not in a house, not with a mouse, not in the air, not in this chair! I do not like them Sam I Am, I f**king do not like this dental scam!!! Just clean my teeth, fill my cavities and shut the f**k up so I can leave with a penny or two left in my wallet!!!!!!

I was sweating by the time I left. And that was before I saw the bill, which of course was twice as much as I thought we had agreed I could afford to pay this time. And the projected bills for the rest of the “treatment plan” was four times that. God d*mn!

Anyways, the upside of all that is I had NO cavities. Not bad for ten years, eh? At least that’s one penny they won’t be pulling out of my mouth.

Crime Boss Capo Emanuel
Mafia bosses awarded themselves and their soldiers with “no show” jobs funneling other people’s money their way.
The Mafia never had the grandiose dreams of today’s corrupt politicians. Politicians who carefully craft laws they write themselves with enough loopholes to legally break the very laws they write.
Mob Boss Rham Emanuel the Capo the Obama Family has just been exposed by the Chicago Tribune for pocketing $320,000 in 14 months from a “no show” job with Freddie Mac and receiving other people’s money.
Freddie Mac itself has been riddled with crime like accounting scandals (no one that is connected ever seems to go to jail) that generated huge fines (of course the responsible individuals were not fined) and condemnations by federal regulators (I am sure they hung their heads).
While Capo Emanuel was getting his “no show” checks Freddie Mac was fined a record of $3.8 by the Federal Election Commission for a scheme that used corporate resources to host fundraisers for other crime family members AKA other politicians.
Eventually the less than savory accounting manipulations brought Freddie Mac to insolvency necessitating its seizure and an injection of $150 billion in taxpayer dollars.
Who said crime does not pay?
You just need to have imagination and write the law so you can drive a truck through the loopholes to pick up the money.
I believe its time we used RICO racketeering laws to round up and prosecute politicians just as we occasionally do with other crime families.
